24 Nov 2024 | James Solheim found these web pages, and contacted
us. He was at University School in 5th & 6th grades. The elementary grades
were not included in Jordannus books after 1963, so we did not know about him.
He writes: It was fun to see my classmates listed in your website for the class of 1977. University Elementary was a fun and excellent school and I think it should have been a continuing experience on into high school. I'm the author of children's books from HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Penguin Random House, and I'm setting up school presentations for Bloomington elementary schools, so it will be fun to visit again after so many years. My latest book is a nominee for the Young Hoosier Award, a selection by the Indiana Library Federation inspiring Indiana kids to read. Author of: Eat Your Woolly Mammoths (HarperCollins) Grandmas Are Greater Than Great (HarperCollins) It's Disgustingand We Ate It! (Simon & Schuster/Scholastic/HMH) Born Yesterday (Penguin Random House/Dolly Parton's Imagination Library) and More! |
