| 15 Feb 2023 | The 1950 US Census has recently been released, and we have been
able to find information on many members of the Class. This does not help us
find current contact information; mostly, it allows us to find parents &
siblings, and death records. Ten members of the Class have been moved from the
first two tables into the Deceased table. They are: Martha Marie Beck Larson, of Stillwater, Minnesota, died August 12, 2019; 7th through 12 grades (missed 9th grade picture day). Nerina Grace Coia Rangazas, of Saint Johns, Florida, died December 6, 1985; in the '45 through '47 yearbooks, with the Class of '47 some years & this Class some years. Mary Maxine Deckard Barrick, of Bloomington, died September 9, 2006; 10th grade only. Josephine Freeman Hanks, of Lyons, Indiana, died June 14, 2021; 9th grade only. George Frank "Frank" Holland, II, of Carmel, Indiana, died September 1, 2022; 3rd & 4th grades, then 7th through 12th (but missed 8th grade picture day). James Marion "Jim" Kent, of Indianapolis, died May 10. 2013; 9th grade only. Patricia "Pat" Moran Lenan, of Friendship, Indiana, died January 23, 2022; 7th through 12 grades, jumped ahead to graduate in 1947. Donald Eugene "Don" Myers, of Bedford, Indiana, died May 24, 2020; 8th grade only. Florence June "Flo" Poling Walmer, of Bluffton, Indiana, died June 28, 2019; 7th through 12th grades. Stephen Merton Sutherland, of Okemah, Oklahoma, died June 8, 2017; 12th grade only. The grades listed are based on the individual photo pages of the Jordannus yearbooks. |

"Margaret, I'm interested in the reunion in October. Got your card today. I'm
assuming that it will take place in Bloomington. Ind. I'm interested in hearing
from anyone in the '48 class. I just had one year at U.H.S. which obviously was
my senior year. I remember many of the kids really quite well. Perhaps you have
