4/23/2012 Sherie Stegall Lemon sent a link to this obituary from the Honolulu Star-Adviser. http://obits.staradvertiser.com/2012/04/15/nicholas-nick-dewitt/. It says that Nick DeWitt passed away on March 14, 2012. It further says that
"Nick was an extraordinary man who touched many lives. He was kind, generous, smart, genuine and caring. In his too-short life, Nick achieved much: he was a successful lawyer, arbitrator and mediator; served on the boards of many non-profit organizations; worked actively for the rights of disabled persons; provided pro bono services to many; and shared his joy of life with everyone who knew him. Nick leaves behind many people whom he loved, and who greatly loved him, including his wife, son, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law; hanai father; and countless friends. Per his wishes, Nick’s ashes will be scattered in the ocean, off shore from his beloved Waikiki, in a private family service. There, he will join his father and grandmother; he will remain part of Hawaii forever."
10/28/11 Susan Hollis Bassett wrote (just before the All School Reunion on 11/5): "I am looking forward to the upcoming All Class UHS Reunion on November 5, 2011. Let's start planning Class of '67's 50th reunion soon-- 2017 will be here before we know it! ."
9/20/11 Ronald Carmony writes: "Happened upon this site while researching a book I'm writing. I didn't graduate from UHS because my parents moved away junior year, but I have many fond memories and thoroughly enjoyed catching up here. We sold the company in 2000, so then I retired and my wife and I now split our time between Indiana and Florida. The grandchildren live in Georgia, so that works out well. Best to all.
6/30/10 Anita Neal Hudson checks in from Bloomington saying "Would love to hear any news!"
12/6/08 Larry Yinger says: "It's very nice to remembered and listed on the '67 Class roster. (Thank you.)
I moved to Ann Arbor, MI prior to graduating from UHS. Based on all the good memories, I still regard Bloomington as my "home town" and UHS as my best high school. I've practiced law for nearly 30 years after graduating from IU-Bloomington Law School (in '79). My residence is currently in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
9/9/08 Larry Judd '66 writes "Ann Bly Judd (class of '67 UHS) and I just celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary and are living in McKinney Texas. Two of our three daughters live here and we have two granddaughters here as well. Our youngest daughter is in California. Six years ago, I retired from Eli Lilly in Indy and now split my time between Texas and Indiana. We still have a small house in Martinsville and I get back once a month to visit my Mom in Brown County.
5/27/08 Robert Joseph 'Joe' Irie of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on May 23, 2008 at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. 3/09/08 Florence Barker Maisch writes: "Hello to UHS classmates. I am living in Richmond, Virginia, and just took early retirement after 31 years in Information Technology. After U-School, I attended IU, and went on third year abroad to Peru. I went on to grad school and got an MBA in 1974. Federico Maisch and I were married in 1973; we recently celebrated our 35th anniversary and we have two grandchildren. Please send me an email and let me know what you are doing.
2/07/08 Stephen (Skip) Pettebone writes: "I found this web site while surfing the web, what a pleasant surprise!
I now live in Marietta, Ohio and work full time on the "honey-do" list for my lovely wife Polly. She teaches biology and physical science at a local high school. I retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, Medical Service Corps, in 1992 after 22 years service. I spent most of my career in Europe and the Far East. Both our kids were born in Naples, Italy. Our son Rick is a Navy Ensign stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Our daughter Becky lives and works here in Marietta, Ohio.
Our neighbors swear we are running a "Bed & Breakfast" because family and friends are always dropping by and staying for a few days. The welcome mat is always out. Any classmate needing a brief respite while transiting Southeast Ohio is always welcome. I can be reached at stephenpettebone@sbcglobal.net."
6/24/07 Diane Adam Davis-Deckard writes: "I attended University School from K-12th grades. I now teach Drawing, Painting and Portfolio at Bloomington High School North. I have taught art for 27 years."

8/31/06 Bruce Hanke wrote: "I was exploring around on the internet and decided to see if there was a UHS web page, and was pleasantly surprised. Although I attended UHS from 1963-66, I did not get to graduate with my class in 67 because my family pulled up stakes and we went to Rhode Island in the summer of 1966, where I finished my last year in high school. While scrolling through the list of names on the UHS class list, I recognized quite a few. It sure brought back some good memories. I passed through Bloomington a few years ago and dropped into what I thought was UHS. It didn't take long to find out there was no more UHS. How times change when you're not looking! At any rate, I spent my career in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, retiring as an Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent in 2004 - a long time, but a great career! Would love to hear from anyone who would like to drop me a note.
6/12/06 Calling all classmates of 1967. Our 40th Reunion will be held in Bloomington on Saturday May 26th 2007. Please reserve that date now and plan on joining your old friends for a wonderfully good time! Contact Tom Martz at tamartz@indiana.edu or Karma Rodholm at karma@healthpromo.com for more information.
4/06/06 Bill Jackson writes: "It just today crossed my mind to search the web to see if UHS alumni had a web site. I did attend the class of 67's 25th year reunion back in '92. My good friend Jim Hammond also attended that reunion, but a few years later Jim lost his battle with cancer. I do try to get back to Bloomington at least once a year, as I have been sponsoring an athletic award at Bloomington North in Jim's name and honor. The award is presented at the year end athletic awards ususally the first week in June. I think the website it great, and thank everyone involved. Maybe we can get together this year sometime. -- Bill Jackson
